As stated in the previous "history" pages, Grand Sport #004 had several configurations from which to choose a "most significant point in time". A standardized form (developed solely for analyzing a vehicle's various "points in time") was used to compare data along GS#004's "time line". |

The form listed factors such as: event (race) significance, race results, factory or independent sponsorship, unique or historically significant technical options, famous owners and/or drivers, etc. After all these factors were evaluated for GS#004, the most significant "point in time" decision came down to either 1963 Nassau or 1964 Sebring. In consideration of the historical significance of the Sebring event and GS#004's unique configuration at the race, the ultimate "point in time" for GS#004's restoration was: 1964 SEBRING. |
