Original photos (like this '64 Sebring photo by Dave Friedman) proved invaluable during #004's restoration. Some of the more interesting details shown are: the two electrical connectors (for high intensity driving lights) mounted just forward of the hood louvers and the center stripe ending just forward of the nose flag emblem. The nose had been damaged slightly before the race started and quickly repainted.

Another '64 Sebring photo shows many other details: Notice the bungy cord, DZUS fastener and leather strap (for hood retention), the black steering wheel, Anco anti-lift wiper blades and the round access plug for the master cylinder in the left fender top. The metallic blue body paint and red/white center stripes are also clearly evident... and were duplicated exactly during #004's restoration.
